The latest in Sublime’s long running relationship with Creative Assembly, this time we needed to transport a group of international journalists to ancient China to sample the latest Total War title in a suitably authentic environment. We were briefed to provide an atmospheric environment that allowed separate spaces for game play, content capture, interviews, presentations and catering, all in keeping with the ancient Chinese theme and in a stand out location.
Sublime negotiated the exclusive use of the extremely prestigious Hutong restaurant in the Shard and worked with the existing theming to transport guests into a world of ultra modern game trials set in the Han Dynasty. We arranged a bespoke banquet for our 2 sessions of guests which featured ancient grains and foodstuffs which would have been consumed at the time the game was set. As a final touch, we brought in specialists to demonstrate a complete Chinese tea ceremony, with each element explained and the press getting to try it out for themselves!
