Sublime were asked to help promote the release of James Gunn’s Superman at high footfall locations
We had to create an engaging installation and facilitate distribution of specially produced Daily Planet newspapers
The goal was to create an affinity with the film and consumer product items
The activation needed to amplify Warner Brothers’ partnership with Samsung and Rubies brands



Sublime designed, produced and toured a themed Daily Planet newspaper kiosk to facilitate distribution of 13,500 special edition newspapers to at mass footfall environments including: The Shard, Kings Cross, Waterloo and Liverpool St Stations
The stand incorporated a photo moment with Rubies costumes – commuters and fans were offered the chance to don the famous red cape and pose for a photo keepsake
Sublime handled full production, venue negotiations, staffing and security including placement of TV screens from brand partner Samsung
In addition to limited edition Newspapers stand visitors could also win exclusive Superman branded merchandise
